Fall Fundraiser Distribution -
Tuesday, November 24th!
Orders will be sent home with your child at the end of the day.
If your child takes the bus and has a large order, please make arrangements to come to the school to pick it up.
The
bus driver will not allow them to bring a large package/box onto the bus.

HELP NEEDED!
Also, we are looking for volunteers to help sort out the orders that morning at 10:15.
We will be sorting them out on the stage in the auditorium.
If we have enough volunteers, it should only take about an hour.
We also need volunteers to hand out the orders from 2:00 - 2:45.
Any help is appreciated!

Canteen Guidlines
Next Canteen: January 22 - Winter Canteen
No Pizza will be served!!! Snacks only!!
Children will not be admitted prior to 7:00 and the canteen ends promptly at 9:00. Your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines will be greatly appreciated.
- Only George Washington Middle School students will be allowed to attend.
- You must have a ticket with you that night in order to be admitted.
- No tickets will be sold at the door the night of the canteen.
- No one will be admitted prior to 7:00 PM. Please arrange for the students to be picked up promptly at 9:00 PM.
- No one is permitted to leave the canteen early, unless picked up by an adult. All transportation arrangements must be made in advance. No telephone calls will be permitted from school.
- Parents must be aware that if any student's behavior or language is found to be improper or objectionable, the parents will be called and are expected to remove the student from the canteen immediately.
- Sixth grade students must enter from the front entrance only.
- Seventh grade students must enter from the side guidance office entrance only.
- Eighth grade students must enter from the gym entrance only.
- Please note that the time of the canteens is 7:00pm - 9:00 PM.

GET CAUGHT READING!!!! 
Reading is a priority at GW and all students have been asked to bring a book or magazine that they enjoy reading to school. They may use these materials after they have completed a test, when they finish their work in study, or during Rec. Teachers, administrators, & Cafeteria Playground Aides will give students whom they "catch reading" a coupon which will be placed in the box in the Main Office. Every 2 weeks
gift certificates to
Barnes & Noble will be given to winners of the coupon lottery.
