Dear Families,

        It was an honor to have been your child’s teacher this school year!   All of the children have come such a long way since September.   They have become wonderful readers and writers.   I am very proud of each and every one of them.  

        Please continue to urge your child to read and write throughout the summer.   Many parents have requested “summer work”.   Considering this, I have created a calendar of review work.   It is full of reinforcement skills to help prepare your child for middle school.   Many of the skills learned this year will be reviewed next year.   The calendar is a great way to continue the learning.   Of course, this summer calendar is completely OPTIONAL.

        It has been a pleasure working with all of you this year.   You are and always will be an essential part of your child’s education.   Thank you for your support and good luck for a successful first year in the middle school!
