Mrs. Heine's
4th Grade Newsletter
Wow! The end of the school year is here already! I would like to take the time to thank you for all of your support and for making our year simply marvelous!
Your child has been working extremely hard throughout the year and you should be very proud of your child’s accomplishments. Fourth grade was a very important year for the students. They have developed the knowledge, skills, and responsibility to be successful in fifth grade.
Please encourage your child to review multiplication and division during the summer months. Please continue reviewing math facts… Remember, your child should be able to complete 35 facts per minute.
Another way to exercise the brain is by reading! The Summer Reading List is a terrific place to start! Anything your child wishes to read during the summer is a plus, whether it’s a magazine, a comic book, or even the newspaper.
Keep up with writing skills.
Encourage your child to keep a summer journal detailing all of the fun and exciting things they did through out the summer.
It has been a fantastic year and a pleasure having your child in my class. Have a safe, healthy, and fun-filled summer!
See you in September!
