Wow! It's the end of the year already:(  

*We can't believe how fast this year has gone by.  It has been a pleasure working with you and your child in their first year at James Fallon School! 

*It's amazing how much they've grown and matured in the ten months that we've known them.  You should be very proud of your child's hard work and diligence throughout the school year.  They have shown that they will try their best and succeed in whatever they choose to do.

*We hope you enjoy the summer calendar we sent home by completing the daily activites too. This will keep the things they learned in our class fresh in their head so that they will be ready for all of the wonderful things that await them in First Grade!

*We wish you and your child much luck in the upcoming school years!  It has been a great year and we are really glad that we've spent the last ten months working with your child!

Follow the recipe below to help you become the BEST student you can be:

• Practice writing your name the Kindergarten way...the first letter is a capital and the rest are lower case
• Read/listen to a book every night
• Practice your high frequency words
• Create words using our word families
• Write sentences using our high frequency words and word families
• Practice your "+" and "-"
• Practice skip counting by 10, 5 and 2
• Practice counting and exchanging pennies, nickels and dimes 
• Practice making number stories using addition and subtraction.
