      We are  having a wonderful month.  We can't wait to see you on American Visitation Week.  Please stop by and enjoy our daily lessons.  Our Hawaiian Luau and Pig Out Party were great.  Thank you for all the healthy and delicious treats.  The students presented their acrostics, flip books and relief maps.  I was so impressed with the knowledge the children have acquired through their various research projects.  Our soup from a stone was delicious.  What a special treat to eat hot soup on a cold autumn day!  The fairy tale masks are outstanding.  They are beautifully displayed outside our classroom.   The entire school learned about the importance of voting.  The third graders hosted a mock election for the entire school.  Each and every child was so excited as they entered our fantastic voting booth on Oct. 30th.  Thank you to the Leotsakas family for making the booth.  Fallon School elected John Mc Cain has the new president.  We are proud to be Americans and we wish our nation's newly elected president, Barack Obama, much success.  We are looking forward to our Inaugural Ball on January 20th. 

I hope you enjoy American Education Week.  I certainly feel privleleged in having you come into our classroom and participate in the activities we do each day.
