This week our focus will be on writing! We will practice writing to a speculative prompt for the NJ ASK which is in May this year.  Students will be learning to write compound and complex sentences. We will also be working on writing dialogue.

In Unit 7 Students will be learning to:

    • review fractions as parts of a whole, fractions on number lines, and the uses of fractions
    • order fractions and find fractional parts of sets and regions
    • identify equivalent fractions
    • review basic ideas of probability, comparing predicted and actual results, and apply fractional knowledge to chance experiments



    Science 

    We are currently exploring ecosystems & biomes. Exploring Ecosystems is Unit B in our science text book.
