Students will be performing A Midsummer Night's Dream on June 10th.  Parents are welcome to attend.

Each performance will be about 20 minutes, and take place in Mr. White's room.

The play will begin EXACTLY at the times listed below.  You may arrive 10 minutes early, but no one will be admitted after the play begins.  Sorry about the inconvenience, but any latecomers will basically have to walk straight across the stage to join the audience, right in the middle of the play.  The kids have worked amazingly hard, and this wouldn't be fair to them.

Here are the times:

8:45   Mr. White's homeroom

9:40  Mrs. Sullo's homeroom

1:00  Mrs. Cinotti's homeroom

Week of Feb. 2-6

JOURNAL TOPICS

This week, we'll be doing some creative writing. You are going to
write three different stories, mixing-and-matching a character,
setting, and plot from the following list:

CHARACTER SETTING PLOT
a dinosaur New York City has trouble making
                                                  friends

an athletic princess a deserted island is lost

Mr. Terpin outer space is being chased by
                                                  an evil turtle

a fashion-obsessed inside a perfume bottle has lost his/her
librarian car keys

In other words, you could write a story about Mr. Terpin being lost
in outer space, or a dinosaur having trouble making friends inside
a perfume bottle. Be creative, be imaginative, but stay in CONTROL
of your story. You can be funny and entertaining, but not silly and
nonsensical.

Neatness DOES factor into your grade.

TUESDAY
