Language Arts
Our Language Arts program includes Reading, Writing, Grammar, and Spelling. Each unit will last for six weeks and each week has a different theme. Each week there is a main selection, non fiction article and a leveled reader that focuses on the same skills and uses the vocabulary for the week. The students will take a weekly test as well as a spelling test and grammar quiz.
During the 6th week of the unit, there will be a unit benchmark assessment, as well as a cumulative writing assignment.
