Grade 6

We are off to a fun start.  We can already see improvements in our typing skills with each Friday "Type Off"!  Keep those fingers moving as we compete to gain the best team average!

The "This is Me" PowerPoint Presentations are beautiful.  It was so fun to find out all about each of you and the things you love to do!

 Still to come

We will travel to a state of our choice via the internet.  We will then work as a Travel Agent and try and sell our vacations!

Get ready to learn more about Excel and Publisher as we continue through the Third Cycle!

Grade 7

The 7th Grade has been working really hard on their "My Life to Be" Presentation.  We are almost ready to automate our show.  It was a lot of fun watching the kids map out their lives.  Thirty doesn't seem that old when you list all the fun things life has in store!

Get ready to get a job and buy that dream house of yours!  Excel will help all of us create a Monthly Budget to track our expenses.  I hope we all come out with a positive balance at the end of the month.  If not, its back to the drawing board! 

We will travel to the country of our ansestors via the internet.  Get ready to be an international Travel Agent!

The Friday "Techie Terms" Games continue to challenge our knowledge of technical terminology!  The more you know the better your chance of winning remember!

Grade 8

Our "Cyber Music" projects are off to a great start.  The names the class have chosen for their "cyber" stores are very creative.

We have a lot of work to do as we design our first relational database to track our "cyber" inventory.  Last step is to design our store webpage and marketing material. 

Can't wait to see what the kids come up with!
