periods 3&4 (grade 8) - We are beginning The Outsiders, a terrific book.  Your next big assignment will be an interview with someone who lived through the 60"s (yes, they still exist).  Do not be surprised by an almost daily quick quiz about the chapter of the book you were assigned to read each night.  Of course, vocabulary is a constantly changing phenomenon.   

period 5 (grade 7) - We have begun reading Among the Imposters, a very good book.  Keep up with the reading at home, and work on learning new vocabulary.  

periods 7 & 8 (grade 7) - We have read the first five chapters of Among the Imposters.  Don't forget to work with vocabulary!  Also, keep up your notes as you read the book.
