Request for 2009-2010 Committee Chairs
The Anthony Wayne PTO is currently seeking chair people for the committees we are forming for the 2009/2010 school year. Committee chair people are responsible for planning and implementing the events of their committee. Through the collaborative efforts of these PTO members, we are able to provide numerous activities that augment the excellent education our children receive. Our PTO’s help supply curriculum based cultural enrichment programs, fun social events, materials and supplies for school use, and so much more. As a member of the board, you are also entitled to vote at PTO meetings.
In the "Files" section below you will find the Committee Chair Request Form, as well as a document that contains a list of AWMS PTO committees. Please read over the descriptions. You can choose up to three chair positions you would like to be considered for. As many as three people may serve as chairs on each committee. We would like to encourage you to express your interest in participating. Be assured that every effort will be made to find you a place on our board.
If you decide not to chair a committee at this time, you will still have the opportunity to volunteer to help at these events.
We hope you will share in this rewarding experience with us. With your help, Anthony Wayne Middle School will continue to be a wonderful place for our children to learn and succeed.
