  ¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to my classpage! This school year, I will be teaching Spanish I and 6th grade. In my classpage you will be able to read information about both grades. Also, you will be able see my homework assignments and practice Spanish using the flashcards posted below. I also recomend to all my students visiting www.studyspanish.com to practice.

      Spanish I is a high school course offered in all the middle schools to the students that qualify. The curriculum concentrates on grammar, communication and culture. Your child will be having Spanish daily and they will be using the same text book as the high school. In addition, they will be taking the same mid-term and final

     The six grade curriculum is content-based, using thematic units as the focus for language learning. Instruction will take place primarily in Spanish. Content taken from other subjects such as history, art, math, science and reading will be reinforced in the target language. The culture of people from different parts of the Spanish-speaking Americas such as Peru, Bolivia, Mexico and Puerto Rico is also incorporated as an integral component of each unit. 

Extra help is offered every Wednesday after school with parent's approval from 2:45 - 3:10 PM
