For every answer you get correct, the UN World Food Program will donate 10 grains of rice to help end hunger. No registration needed. Try math, english, foreign language, science or geography questions. This is good practice for basic math skills, especially fractions, negative numbers, and exponents. It is also good to increase vocabulary for SAT's!
"Outstanding mathematical ability is a precious societal resource, sorely needed to maintain leadership in a technological world."

Mathematical ability is extremely important in the modern world. Together, we can make this year of mathematics useful and successful. Come to class everyday prepared with:
1. Sharpened Pencils
2. A three-ring binder or a notebook with a folder for classwork and notes
3. Your COMPLETED homework
4. Your textbook (only for the Unified classes)
Check below for the homework for this week. Also, check for worksheets or powerpoints you might have missed and notes about upcoming tests or quizzes!
Extra Help: I am available most days before and after school. You may also see me at Rec time. Please let me know if you need help! If you want to stay after school for help, make sure you ask me one day in advance and have a parent/guardian sign a permission slip for you to stay. You can download a permission slip from the bottom of the page and print one out at home! (or ask me for one in class!)
*Unified Classes* : Your Algebra book is available online! Go to www.classzone.com and choose High School Math for NJ. Then, click on our blue and red Algebra 1 2004 book. Click "Online Book" and choose Student Sign-In. You have to create an account and use 0-618-25018-2 as the ISBN number. You can access any page of the book just by typing in the number at the top right corner. The answers in the back of the book are also available if you type in SA7 into the page # spot and then flip through to find the assignment. If you click on "Student Tools" instead of "Online Book" there are practice tests and quizzes you can take to prepare for assessments.

Check room 107 for permission slips. We meet every Thursday after school until 3:45.
