Emergency Closing Information:
Our school number is (610)-938-6600. On KYW (1060 AM) radio, the emergency closing number is 526. Also the SpringfieldSchool District has a channel on Suburban Cable, Channel 11, which will also broadcast any emergency closings.
100 Book Challenge is an integral part of our reading program. The books that your child selects are at his/her independent reading level. that is the level in which they can read, fully understand, and enjoy without any help. These books should be fun and easy to read.
Please support our efforts by having your child read each night for 30 minutes. Have him/her record the title on his/her 100 Book Challenge sheet. Each 15 minutes is equal to one step. Thirty minutes equals two steps. Return the sheet and books each day.
Your child should read at least 700 steps by the end of the school year. Please look for the weekly goal posted in the Student Planner. This will help our students stay on track.
