 The SHS Home & School Association is a perfect way for you to remain active in your student's school life even through the high school years! Jo-Ann Moore & Sue Tronco, President & Vice President of the SHS Home & School, invite you to get involved. This webpage will host information about the upcoming meetings of the Home & School, mission statement, fundraising activities, suggestions for volunteering, and minutes from meetings.

All meetings are Tuesday nights @ 7:00pm in the Faculty Dining Room. 

Mission Statement

Our Home and School Association is a partnership between parents and teachers committed to the education of our children. Students benefit from parental involvement, knowledge and interest in their school. 

As a parent, you are a member of our organization and your participation can help make it a successful year. Please know you are welcome at our meetings and your ideas and suggestions will be appreciated. 


Volunteering

Please consider volunteering at Springfield High School. Being involved is so important and greatly appreciated! Some of the ways you can volunteer are: Dance Chaperones, After Graduation Party, or the Post Prom Party. If you are interested in helping, contact Jo-Ann Moore at   shshs@ssd.k12.pa.us, or come to our meetings to learn more about what you can do. Dance Chaperones are especially needed. Please mark your calendars with these dates, and if you are available to please contact Joan McMenamin wjmcmenamin@verizon.net

Fundraising Activities:

Cougar Callers:  Cougar Callers are available for $5 in the Main Office.

Acme Tape Saver Program:  Collect your Acme register tapes and drop them in the Main Office marked H&S.

Target Take Charge of Education Program:  You can designate Springfield High School as your school of choice to receive one percent of the purchases made with your Target credit card.  You can list our school by calling 1-800-316-6142 or visit target.com or stop in customer services at the store.

Genuardi's :  Please log on to www.escrip.com and sign up for the Genuardi's cash back program. The Springfield High School Senior Post Prom benefits from this easy fundraising effort. You must sign up again every year!! Remember as you move to SHS to change your donations over to the Prom!!  Our code # 150540682.
