Weekly Schedule

  Mondays : Writing Workshop

Tuesdays : Literature Workshop

Wednesdays : Writing Workshop/Home Reading

Thursdays : Literature Workshop

  Fridays : Book Talks/Home Reading

 

Regular Weekly Assignments:

  • Home Reading Books should be brought to class daily.
  • Home Reading should occur nightly.
  • Home Reading Response Activities are due on designated Fridays.
  • Five Home Reading Vocabulary words are due every Friday.
  • Remember to update Home Reading Book Log with every new book.
  • Nightly Assignments:
  • Students record assignments in planners that are posted on the class board and announced daily.

Due: Wed., May 27: End of Class: Final copy of Free Choice Piece (100 pts.)

Due: Wed., June 3: Lit Cirlce Performnaces (40 pts.)

Due: Mon., June 8: Be prepared to write a blog review on your favorite book as a recommendation for classmates for summer reading. 

Due: Tues., June 9: Have 10 (or more) COLOR magazine pictures or photos of your utmost dreams and goals for the summer, high school, college, future, YOUR LIFE!   Neatly cut pictures out.

Thursday, June 11: Beach Book Day!  Dress in approprioate beachy attire and be ready for book review contest and beach fun!!

Due: Friday, June 12: Literary Term Review Packet for final exam
