  Welcome to PARKSIDE PTL 

June, 2009

 June 2nd -- Kindergarten Great Guys Gala -- 9:30 am for the AM Kids and 1:15 pm for those PM Kids!!

June 3rd is the annual Safety Picnic for all those responsible kids that keep people from running in the halls and kids standing in single file it is the perfect time to max and relax.

 June 5th is time for the First Grade play and cast party.  If you have a fear of bridges, farm animals or trolls you might want to avoid this production.

Special Education 5th Grade Visit to Northley Middle School @ 9:00 am on June 8th ~~~ They grow up so fast.

Blue Rocks Game is on June 9th @ 7:00 pm cause nothing says it's Summer like some good ol' fashioned baseball watching.

Our Final Assembly for the School Year is on June 10th @ 9:30 am and we'll be celebrating Reading with the Jonathan Sprout Assembly. 

Come join our PTL for the last meeting for this school year on June 11th @ 6:30 pm in the school library, otherwise how will you know the super secret handshake for next year?

Our Kindergarten performs its Celebrate America Bell Program on June 12th @ 9:30 am.

On June 15th, our 5th Graders have their last Parkside Hooray with the 5th Grade Breakfast and Yearbook Signing in the morning and the Awards Assembly @ 2:00 pm.

And so ends this Parkside School Year with an early dismissal of 11:15 am (11:10 am for KAM and KPM) on June 16th .... and we'll see ya all next year!

 Volunteers are needed for Market
Day and other PTL things!  Contact us if you can help and we promise to release you as soon as you are finished.

 

 Remember to keep clipping those box tops.  The link for Boxtops4Education is at the top of this page.  We will continue with contests for Boxtops next year, so stockpile these throughout the summer!

 

     

Market Day is an ongoing fundraiser for our school.  Please note that you can make your purchases either through the flyer sent home or by ordering online and that each purchase you make is not only delicious but enables your PTL to continue all the programs that make our children's school experience so special.
