Dear Parents:

Welcome!  My name is Elise M. Miranda-Martin, and I will be your child's Spanish teacher this year.  I am looking forward to an exciting, and productive year working with you and your child.

I am committed to the importance of parent involvement in a student's education. I firmly believe that your child receives the best education possible when you and I work as a team.

Attached you will find copies of my classroom discipline plan and my homework policy.  Please read both of these carefully. The plans explain many of my expectations for your child in this class.  I need your support of these expectations, and I need you to let your child know also that you support these classroom rules.

I will be keeping in close touch with you throughout the year. I welcome your calls. Please call the school at (610) 359-4320 ext. 3575, any time you have anything you'd like to discuss with me. I will return your call as quickly as possible.

I look forward to meeting you at Back to School Night on September 11th or September 18th. It is going to be an exciting evening that I know you won't want to miss.
