WELCOME to 6th Grade Alpha Team 6TH GRADE HISTORY ........ WILL TAKE YOU ON A JOURNEY THROUGH ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS IF YOU LIKED LEARNING ABOUT THE MAYA, AZTEC, and the ANASAZI......THEN YOU WILL REALLY ENJOY TRAVELING BACK IN TIME TO EXPERIENCE LIFE IN MESOPOTAMIA, EGYPT, ANCIENT GREECE, ANCIENT ROME, CHINA AND INDIA Black History Game Board Projects were great.  We have some very creative 6th graders in the Alpha History classes. Maybe Milton Bradley would like to see a few of our games?   On March 24 6th graders enjoyed playing the games.  We all agree, it was a fun way to learn.   China I-Search Projects were shared in all history classes.  The creative visuals are hanging in the Alpha hallway.  Be sure to take a look at Nick's dragon and Olivia's 3-D poster. We began studying Ancient Greece.  Did you know the ancient Greeks started the olympics?  Did you know that chariot races were a very popular event at that time?  Ask a 6th grader for more cool trivial about this ancient civilization.
