The Career Based Intervention Program is designed to give students the opportunity to complete their education, while learning the obligations of the world of work. The success of students in the Career Based Intervention Program is dependent upon their desire to improve. There are definite responsibilities the pupil must agree to carry out before being enrolled. The C.B.I. class is worth five credits. The student must complete the entire program to receive any credit.
-
To be in school every day and on time unless confined to bed and to notify the Coordinator by phone in event of such absence.
-
If in a paid work experience, to be at work on time and to miss only if confined to bed or excused by the CBI Coordinator and to notify the employer and Coordinator by phone in event of such absence.
-
To notify the Coordinator immediately of any school or work problems and accept the Coordinator’s counseling, guidance, and any reassignments or adjustment of my work experience.
-
To have good personal hygiene, be properly dressed, and to be groomed as directed by the Coordinator or employer if in a paid work position.
-
To understand that I may be dropped from the program if I cut a class, lie, cheat, steal, am fired from a paid work experience or fail a subject.

-
I will make an honest effort to succeed in all academic subjects and when employed will perform all of my job duties in a manner that will reflect credit to myself and my school.
