WELCOME TO 8th GRADE SCIENCE AND U.S. STUDIES

I am looking forward to an exciting year in Science and U.S. Studies.   We will be concentrating on the standards and preparing for the OAT.    
   
The science area covered is Physical Science.   We will concentrate on Forces and Motion,   Energy and Waves.   We will also be studying Our Universe.            
 
Our U.S. Studies class will be learning about United States History beginning with the First Colonies and ending with The Restoration (the time period after the Civil War).
