Dear Parents of "ALMOST FIRST GRADERS"!!!

We are busy getting ready for the end of the year already! Please continue reading to your child daily this summer or have them read to you! To ensure that you child has a solid base in language development this is a fundamental place to begin! Listen to your child read his/her Poetry Notebook weekly, help review letters and sounds, and practice writing names and vocabulary words the "Kindergarten" way! Continue to "dig out" something to read or do from the " PRACTICE ENVELOPE", too.

Thanks so much for participating in "Book It", the principal's "Reading Challenges", and reading the "Book-in-a-Bag" with your child each night. Please review your child's address and phone number with him/her frequently, along with the following flash cards.
