Welcome to Mrs. Lesinski's class webpage!   In second grade, we are working very hard in all subject areas.   In reader's workshop, we are working on the reading skill, questioning, and are improving our reading in our guided reading groups.   Each week we focus on a different theme in our centers.  The students do a nice job of working independently and also work well together in cooperative learning groups.  In writing, we are working on, what we call in Room 7 "star quality sentences."  The "star quality sentences" have all word wall words spelled correctly, proper punctuation, and correct capitaliation.    We are always practicing math facts so keep up the practice at home.   Keep reading every night for at least 15 minutes!
