My class is currently studying clocks and 2 digit addition with and without regrouping.  They are learning how to identify nouns and verbs in sentences and write a 6 sentence paragraph using a graphic organizer.  My students are learning to read CVC and CVCC and CCVC words in isolation and in context.  My younger students are learning the letters of the alphabet, sounds and how to identify beginning sounds.  They are learning how to count objects to 12 and sequence numbers to 20.  They are also learning how to write their first and last name and their home address.  All my students are learning how to play socially with each other through structured games.
