Students are working individually and in small groups.  They are each working toward their specific goals.  Kindergarten is working on one digit addition, counting pennies, letter sounds and rhyming, and writing letters from dictation.  First grade is working on improving reading comprehension, sight words, and addition and subtraction.   Second grade is working on reading comprehension, sight words, two digit addition with regrouping, counting nickels, dimes, and pennies, and telling time by the hour.

In science we are studying plants.  In social studies we will be studying historical figures and timelines.

In social skills we are focusing on cooperative play, listening skills, and communicating with others appropriately.

In written language we are working on punctuation and capitalization.  We are also focusing on writing complete sentences and identifying words as nouns and action words.  The class is also learning about the concepts empty and full, comparative terms, and following directions.
