Welcome to Ashford! I am excited about having your child in my class, and know that this will be a great year!
In order to familiarize yourself with the curriculum this year, please refer to your Kindergarten Handbook that you received at "School is Cool." If there are any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

A Few Reminder for Parents:

You may walk your child to class the first day but thereafter, please drop him/her at the gym

The tardy bell rings at 7:45 a.m.

Lunch is at 10:40 - 11:10 a.m.
-
Ancillary (Specials) occur from 11:30 - 12:15 p.m.

Dismissal is at 3:15 p.m.

Please keep a change of clothes in your child’s back pack in case of an accident.
If sending a child with money for a snack at lunch, only send at most $1. If they bring more, they are likely to give it to a friend.
Please be sure your child goes directly to the gym when they arrive in the morning.
Please remember to fill out and return all required forms from the first day package that you received.
Don’t forget to check your child’s blue folder (communication folder) daily and go over their work and expectation chart.
Please place any important notes or papers in your child’s communication folder. Your child’s teacher will open their folder daily but will not be able to check in backpacks for notes or papers.
Please help us to ensure your child’s success by attending school daily and by being on time!
