Week of 3/16/10
* No school on Monday because of teacher meetings.
* Reconciliation service for the junior high is Tuesday afternoon.
* 6th Grade Retreat is Thursday.
* Stations of the Cross is Friday at 2:00.
6th Grade:
We are going to pick up Pinballs again this week, and we will finish it by next week. We will have a short test on Pinballs on Friday, March 26, 2010. We will also be writing a paper on the novel, focusing on one of the main characters and how they affected the plot. We'll talk about the details in class.
7th Grade:
Remember that both the research paper rough draft and the Works Cited rough draft are due Tuesday, 3/16/2010.
We will spend two days in class revising these according to the rubric.
The Final Draft will be due Monday, 3/22/2010.
At the end of the week, we will have our introduction to Shakespeare and begin reading our next book: Romeo and Juliet!
8th Grade:

We will spend two days in class revising these according to the rubric.
The Final Draft will be due Monday, 3/22/2010.
If all goes very smoothly with the revising process, we will have the treat of watching the movie "To Kill a Mockingbird" at the end of the week!
When we are finished with the research paper and "To Kill a Mockingbird," we will begin our Shakespeare unit, reading Macbeth!
