HAPPY SUMMER!

Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers and the generous Visa gift card!  I will enjoy a wonderful shopping spree on you!  You and your children are the best gift I could ask for!  I have loved teaching at St. Mary's for the past 31 years.  The parents and children here are a true blessing and joy to work with.  I count my blessings and thank God everyday for all of you!

Don't forget to come and see me next year!  You can email me, if you need anything over the summer.  I will miss all of you!

Practice reading all the alphabet books they have made. 
Practice letter recognition-uppercase and lowercase 
Practice writing the uppercase and lowercase letters. 
Practice the sound for the letters,especially vowel sounds(long and short). 
Practice sight words every day! Spelling them too! 
 
MATH: 
Practice left and right!    
Practice writing numbers 1-9 correctly! 
Counting by 5's and 10's to 100! 
Months of the the year. 
Practice time - Analog and digital to the hour and half hour. 
Practice money - Name coins and their value and count simple combinations.  
 
OTHER:  
Practice address, phone number and birthday. 
Tying shoes. 
Writing first and last name correctly. 
Practice the Glory Be, Hail Mary, Our Father and Meal prayer.
