Music Studio 2008-09

Welcome back to school and I hope everyone had a great summer vacation. The Music Studio is up and running and I am welcoming

the returning students and the new students. I am reviewing with the returning students the "Conversational Solfege" process I began

using last year to learn to speak as well as read music. New this year is I am starting a Junior High Choir which is open to all 6th, 7th

and 8th grade students. This choir will rehearse separately from their general music classes. I would like to develop this choir into an

ensemble to perform at various venues outside of school and for concerts. I hope students will take advantage of this opportunity to

show others outside our school the talent our students possess. Sign Up sheets can be obtained from me or you can download and

print the sheet which I have attatched to this page.
