Third Grade Weekly Newsletter

 

Message from Ms. Benson:  Headphones will be kept at school and passed on to the next grade teacher.

Dear Parents,

Thanks for all you have done to make third grade a successful year for your child.  I can't believe another whole school year has come and gone.  I have loved working with each and every one of your children.  They are a really nice group of kids and it has been a joy teaching them.  I hope you all have lots of quality family time together this summer.  Thanks for everything!

This week in school:

Reading/Language Arts- Finish novel unit, "James and the Giant Peach" - write our own chants, friendship recipes, and a comprehension test.

We will also be writing "A Survival Guide to 3rd Grade" for next year's class and updating our writing portfolios.

Spelling-  No spelling this week!

Math- 4th grade math!!!  Multiplying 3-digit by 1-digit numbers

Social Studies- Finish up Steps to Respect lessons

Art - no art this week

                                   Have a great summer!
