Spelling

The spelling words for the week of May 14 are words with oa,ow,ee and ea.Spelling words will be introduced with a pretest and sent home on Mondays. This week the words will be sent home on Monday,May 14.
The final test will be on Friday, May 18.The children will be tested on all twenty words. This week the children will be bringing home a spelling contract. They do the activities on the sheet for points. This is due on Friday. This will take the place of ABC order and five sentences.

This week we will work on praying the rosary.
Mrs. Navarette will teach Social Studies to all second graders in the fall. Please check her class page for information about Social Studies. Parents should check assignment notebooks each night for any Social Studies homework and the date that assignment is due.

This week we will complete work on Chapter 10 and will begin work on Chapter 11 which focuses on Forces and Machines.
