Third Grade Weekly Newsletter
Dear Parents and Students,
It's really here-the last days of school! I will do my best to give you a sense of what these last days will be like in our classroom.
There is NO mass on Tuesday. Our final "All School" Mass will be held on Wednesday at 8:00 am.
There will be Ice cream sundaes for those who preordered and available to purchase for $2 on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the courtyard. This event is sponsored by the future 8th grade class.
Dismissal on Wednesday is at 11:00 a.m.
We will spend a big portion of Tuesday cleaning up our classroom, lockers, etc. If possible please send a bucket and rag with your child. A roll of paper toweling would be greatly appreciated as well!!!!
Curriculum Highlights for the week;
Reading/Language Arts- Perform mini-plays for fluency, and share commercial scripts Grammar- Writing-Writing a letter to the 4th grade teacher and an Advice Booklet to next year's class.
Spelling- There are no more words for the year!!!
Religion- Learn about items in a church worship space.
Math-Math games if time permits.
Science-Wrap up unit on Insects
Social Studies-Wrap up unit on Government
Art- Father's Day craft
