SECOND GRADE NEWS

December 15-19, 2008









  Religion

We started the 3rd week of Advent with a prayer as we added a flame to the third candle on our Advent wreaths.

We read the Christmas story and talked about what a special gift God gave to all of us.

This week we have been continuing our good deeds in the classroom, lunchroom and on the playground!

We finished up our Christmas cards for the parishioners! We hope our Christmas message will bring them warmth and a smile!

 

We really enjoyed exchanging our homemade gifts with our "secret" friend! There were so many wonderful and creative ideas!
