Subjects
Math--We have begun learning about odd and even numbers. We did a fun activity using students to show the difference between odd and even numbers.
Phonics--We played a game called "Turkey Trot Lotto." It is a Bingo game that uses consonant blends. It is good practice and fun, too.
Religion--We are practicing finding songs in the song missals. We are excited that soon we can use them at mass just like the rest of the student body.
Congratulations!
Our All Saints Mass was terrific! Mrs. Butler said that we had great costumes, did a super job with the readings and really knew alot about our saints. She was very proud of us! We got to have an ice cream party with the other class to celebrate!
Thank You!
We want to thank all of our Moms and Dads for helping us prepare for our All Saints Day celebration. Thanks for helping us make our costumes, learn about our saints and practice our mass parts.
Tidbits
It is hard to believe that the first quarter of school is over. We continue to learn new things each day!
We have finished our October reading logs and will be bringing home our first Pizza Hut certificate.
We will be starting a new behavior plan called "Behavior Bucks." A note will be sent home explaining how it works.
