happening in the world of athletics and physical education.
Physical Education in the Middle School and Elementary School:
Our goal is to help your student develop physically, mentally, ethically, and socially so they can
become a contributing member of society. A broad range of activities have been planned to help your
student accomplish these goals. All activities in our program this year could include, but are not

Middle School Grading
Your student is graded DAILY in physical education. Three areas are considered when
averaging your student's grade:
* Participation - effort made in the activity and willingness to try; general class conduct; attitude toward
others and a sense of fair play.
* Dress - properly dressing out in school approved P.E. gear.
* Knowledge and Skill - rules and regulations for each activity, improvement in skill level from the
beginning to the end of the unit.

be counted tardy.
