The results from the National Latin Exam have arrived, and the St. Luke's Latin students did very well! For a breakdown of the scores please see the attachment "NLE Article" below.
St. Luke's 8th grade Latin students competed in the State JCL Convention at Southern Methodist University in Dallas on March 27 and 28. Although we were a bit shorthanded, we had numerous students place in multiple events:
Out of 17 individual competitors in we scored: 3 1st place finishes 1 3rd place finish 3 4th place finishes 2 5th place finishes 2 6th place finishes 1 8th place finish 2 9th place finishes
Academic Pentathlon: 4 Summa Cum Laude 2 Maxima Cum Laude 3 Magna Cum Laude 4 Cum Laude
St. Luke's Latin students competed in the Texas State Area B JCL Convention on February 27-28 and we won 1st place in the Sweepstakes Silver Division!

Out of 27 individual competitors in over 11 different contests we scored: 13 1st place finishes including the Spirit Award (team) and Sweepstakes (team) 8 2nd place finishes 4 3rd place finishes 3 4th place finishes
